I remember the first time I had chai tea, it was on ice. We were living in Las Vegas at the time and my daughter and I walked about a mile and a half to our local Starbucks. You can do this if you go early in the morning, before the heat sets in.
I really liked the flavor of the iced chai tea and my daughter thought it was “unusual”. We had brought our dog with us on the walk and on the return home we had to call for a pick up, we had pooped the poor pup out!
English Breakfast Tea or Chai Tea
Ever since I met my hubby, John, we have had evening tea time, if we’re at home in the evening, and if it’s before 9 pm. He prefers Bigelow’s Decaffinated English Breakfast Tea or decaffinated Tetley Tea. I don’t have a preference really.
I recently discovered Bigelow also makes a superb (okay I’ll admit I haven’t compared it to anything other than Stash Tea) decaffinated hot chai tea. That’s my new favorite.
With a little milk, or half and half, and a small teaspoon of sugar it is divine
I’m sipping some now as I write this post!
