Hello Readers! I am Stacie Lewin from Wisconsin and I’m a new intern here at Family Foodies.
I am really excited about this blog internship as I hope to share with you a lot of great information and some great recipes! I absolutely love cooking and baking.

I personally started blogging back in May. When I first started I was writing about freebies and recipes. My focus changed to blogging about my journey raising an autistic son as well as promoting autism awareness.
I also have to other kids. My oldest son is 14 and well you know the teenage know it all years. My youngest is our year old daughter. My kids are my pride and joy. The picture here is of my daughter and I reading one of her favorite books
I’ve been married for eight years and am currently a work at home mom. I do voice transcribing as well as some data entry.
Now it’s my turn to ask you a few questions.
- What would you like to see me write about?
- Is there something that you would like to learn more about?
- Are you stumped for what to cook next?
- Is there something else you would like to know about me?
Feel free to leave me a comment and ask questions!

Hi Stacie!
I am so excited to read your posts! My biggest struggle is making sure I find healthy and fresh snacks for my 2-yo son other than “carbs” such as snack crackers and snack cookies even if they are “organic” or “healthy”. I particularly need some great portable healthy snack ideas that don't leave a crazy mess in the car seat!!
Tara
Welcome Stacie! I'm wondering how certain foods affect autistic children. Look forward to your foodie posts!
I'm looking for fast, filling wintertime dinners for my husband & two teenage boys!
Look forward to seeing your posts over the next 10 weeks. I'm not much of a cook but I love to bake. Anything “semi” homemade is right up my alley.
Hello! It's nice to meet you and learn more about you. I cant wait to start trying some of the recipes you write about!!
Nice to meet you, Stacy. I'm always looking for lunch ideas. I like things that are easy but healthy. Now that I'm home with little ones, I never get around to eating those yummy leftovers so I send them with my hubby to school.
Hi, Stacie! Welcome to our MM internship. I am so excited to read your blog because as a mom of 2 boys and a meat eating husband, I want to know how to please everyone with a healthy meal…on a budget….quick and easy …. and oh, I don't eat meat.
Looking forward to learning more from you! Have a great day!
Hi Tara. Thanks for the suggestions on the healthy snacks. I know I have a few of those stashed away in my recipe folders. Will be nice to be able to bring them out and share them.
That's a really good topic. I have been wondering that myself I just never researched it. Now you are giving me the opportunity to do it. Thanks for the suggestion.
I love fast dinners. I use my crockpot alot in winter. Ok well in summer too. I have a ton of those kind of recipes. Looking forward to sharing them with you.
Hi Traci! I can help you with “semi” home made.
If you try the recipes I post I would love to hear how your family liked or disliked them. I tweak alot of mine and I post my tweakings and my thoughts in my recipes. I am cheese lover so I put more cheese in a lot my recipes then I am suppose too. LOL
Hi Amber. I do the same with leftovers with my husband too. I do think I can give you some great lunch ideas for you kiddos. In fact funny you should say that as earlier this morning I was paging through a recipe book for kid friendly recipes and found some great ones in there that I would love to try and share.
Budget meals were something on my list already. I know some of them you can take out the meat if you would like to make them meatless. I have a friend who is asking me for vegetarian recipes so I hope I can share those with you too. I am really excited about this internship.
Stacie, I am looking for easy great tasting recipes that my kids and husband will eat. I know no easy task! Excited about your posts!
Hi Jenniefer. Your right it's no easy task to please everyone. I hope you don't have picky eaters like I do. Thankfully my daughter pretty much likes everything.
