Chill Out With A Cool Smoothie!

Peachie Keen!

Today in Detroit Metro area it is smokin’ hot! 91 degrees.

The summer time is a great time for fresh fruit! A fruit smoothie is a real cooler downer. So much fresh fruit is available now, so it a perfect time for smoothies! I am not talking about the “smoothies” in the mall.

Many of the mall vendors use syrup to give the smoothie flavor and they use a lot of ice. The syrup is loaded with processed sugar. Fruit has its own sugar! You can use any fruit you like but you can start with this recipe then get creative!

Here’s a nice recipe for a Smoothie that any family would love to chill out with.

Let the kids help, it might make it taste better to them!
