Chase away the winter blues with a fun summertime treat! These yummy Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes are great for kid parties or just to have some fun!
Mini muffin pans work the best for holding the cones in place, but regular muffin pans will work too or even use a regular cake pan to stand them up in. You could use some rice in the pan to help hold them upright if you’re having trouble.

Fill flat bottom ice cream cones 2/3 full with your favorite cake batter. We used a confetti cake mix for ours.
Bake, using the directions for cupcakes.
Let them cool.

If the children are old enough, let them frost their own … swirling the frosting to look like soft-serve ice cream.

Even little ones will love the last part – adding sprinkles!
We even put cherries on top! Enjoy!
