I am sure from time to time we all have a kitchen disaster story to share. I know I have my fair share of them. I can tell you about the time I set the smoke alarms off.
I was outside talking with some friends and forgot I was making dinner. I was making smoked sausage. Well all of a sudden I looked up and noticed that the kitchen window was looking smoke filled. I ran back into the house and the kitchen was covered in this smoke and the smoke alarms were going off. I ended up having to throw the pan away as it was really badly burned.
I do have a kitchen tip to share with you. If your pans are burned and have scum on them fill them up with a little water and put baking soda in them and bring it to boil. Then let it cool. It will then remove all of the burned and sticky scummies.

I've burned pans before but I'll have to try the baking soda and boiling tip next time. Thanks for sharing!

Telling us about “the time” you set off the smoke alarms, LOL. Every time I step foot in my kitchen I either set off the alarm, break something or hurt myself. Lucky me, my husband loves to cook

You are welcome. I didn't know about till my friend told me while we were on the phone. She said you might have to do it a couple times but it truly does work.
