Seriously…it’s great t0 have others that I can look to for cooking advice, recipes, tips, tricks…you get the idea.
This past week, I’ve had the opportunity to cook for an army as our household expanded with the arrival of family for Spring Break. This gave me the chance to try out new recipes.(successfully, I might add. YAY me!)
Although I do not bake, per se, I do LOVE to eat a great tasting cake. Better yet, one that looks as good as it tastes. Feast your eyes on THIS masterpiece.
I also discovered that cookies CAN cure you of almost anything!
I don’t know about you, but I love cookbooks. The trouble is finding ones that are also practical to use in your everyday cooking. This blogger did the leg work for me! She found a great one that focuses on money saving meals!
What about an 86 Calorie BROWNIE?!! Yeah! It’s true. (Can you tell I was on a dessert kick this week?)
As a TEXAN, I can attest to the fact that it is indeed a whole different country! We have cuisine all our own. Here’s a great intro to Tex-Mex with my favorite soup!
And if you need some “tweaked” tips, Cee is your gal! I learned that dates on food don’t necessarily mean what you think.
Thanks to you all for making my kitchen a better place to eat!
